In Typography II, one of our projects was to typeset a book, Designing with Type by Jeremy Allen. It was an awesome project, where I designed 78 pages and found corresponding images online. We each printed the books professionally for our final projects.
In a previous course, Typography 1, I typeset and bound my own book by hand. For that project, I chose to design for the play Into the Woods, by James Lapine. These typography projects are still some of my favorites I’ve ever worked on and on my bookcase at home.
